Calum is an interdisciplinary researcher exploring critical perspectives on and approaches to our planetary crisis. He is currently based at Maynooth University, Ireland, where his postdoctoral work focuses on issues of climate and energy (in)justice. His broader research interests include power, post-growth political economy, green political theory, state theory, radical climate activism and social movement strategy. He received his PhD in Politics from Queen’s University Belfast in 2023. He also serves as a member of the Coordinating Team for the Climate Justice Universities Union.
