Leader of Centre for Studies of Climate Change Denial (CEFORCED) researching organized, ideological, response and everyday climate change denial. Published, among else; ‘A green fatwā? Climate change as a threat to the masculinity of industrial modernity’, ‘Cool Dudes in Norway: Climate Change denial among conservative Norwegian Men’, ‘Fossil Fuel, Industrial/Breadwinner Masculinities and climate change: understanding the “white male effect” of climate denial’ and Discourses of Global Climate Change, (in Swedish) Upphettning. Demokratin i klimatkrisens tid. As part of his academic work he publishes chronicles in a wide range of newspapers and gives public lectures commenting on contemporary politics. Hultman is currently developing possible solutions to climate change denial such as Rights of Nature and Ecological Masculinities.
