I am a qualitative social scientist specializing in hazards and disasters, climate change adaptation, and environmental justice. My research critically analyzes disaster resilience initiatives, disaster aid programs, and responses to climate change and sea level rise in the U.S. Gulf Coast. I also engage with grassroots groups and government institutions to support community-led adaptation.
