Dr. Viviana Wu is an Assistant Professor at the UMass Amherst School of Public Policy. Her research combines mixed methods and computational approaches to examine how nonprofits and individuals organize to advance social justice and climate change through philanthropy and social media advocacy. Her latest work investigates the roles of nonprofits in climate action and obstruction advocacy efforts on social media.
