Martin Sokol is Associate Professor of Economic Geography at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He has a PhD in Economic Geography from Newcastle University, England, UK. His research focuses on central banks, monetary policy and financialisation. Between 2016 and 2022, he led the European Research Council (ERC) project on new geographies of financialisation (Grant Agreement No 683197).
