I am an environmental scientist and environmental economist, with a research focus on the role of bioenergy in substituting fossil fuels and in delivering carbon dioxide removal (CDR). My work includes land-use optimization modelling, where I map, quantify, and value environmental and social impacts of renewable energy technologies, particularly bioenergy. I also explore the social legitimacy of climate mitigation technology, and the locations and communities where they may be deployed.
