CSSN is hosting an online event on how three scholars are using webscraping methods, parsing, named entity recognition, large language models, machine coding and topic models to research climate obstruction. We are going to highlight inductive and deductive approaches to large data modeling. Our guests are Travis Coan, Exeter; Ian P. Gray, Columbia; and Florian Cafiero, Paris Sciences et Lettres University (PSL).
The event will be 50 min with 15 min presentations, using the remaining time for a Q&A.
