Chigozie Nweke-Eze is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford. His current research critically assesses stakeholder and public perceptions of net zero options, and their implications for climate justice and equity.Prior to this role, Chigozie gained extensive research and practitioner experience in energy transition, natural resource governance and climate change, working as Research Associate at the University of Bonn and the Research Institute for Sustainability Potsdam, as well as Project Lead at the German Development Organization (GIZ) and the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21) in Paris.He holds an MA in Development Economics and International Studies from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and defended his PhD on Planning and Geographies of Large-scale Renewable Energy Projects at the Institute of Geography, University of Bonn. He is the founder of Integrated Africa Power (IAP).
