Cristiana Losekann is a Professor at the Social Sciences Department of the Federal University of the Espirito Santo in Brazil. She coordinates the Environmental Policy and Justice Research Laboratory (LAPAJ). She is researching transformations of environmentalism across the years in Brazil. Her research interests include environmental movements, legal mobilization, climate framing, and environmental policy in Brazil. She works with ethnography and qualitative methodology. She is a fellowship researcher of the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). In 2013, she published Environmentalist Movements in Brazil – intertwining tensions between State and Society during the Lula government (in Portuguese).
