Dr. Dave McEvoy is Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics at Appalachian State University (NC, USA). His research focuses on global environmental problems and international environmental agreements, particularly those related to climate change. He uses theoretical models, controlled experiments, and survey methods to study behavioral aspects of managing climate change. His recent work explores the economics and governance of solar geoengineering. Dr. McEvoy holds graduate degrees in environmental and resource economics from University College London and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is also an affiliate faculty member of the Ostrom Workshop at Indiana University.
