Laina is a doctoral student at the University of Connecticut, studying climate change communication. She is also a research writer for UConn University of Communications, where she is fortunate to have the opportunity to learn and write about a broad range of subjects — from ecology to chemistry to anthropology — but one common thread in much of the research she covers is climate change. This broad exposure to the topics has given her insight into the critical need for diverse strategies in tackling the climate crisis.
