I am a Nicaraguan with a Bachelor of Law from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua. In addition, I graduated with a master’s degree in Central European Studies at the University of Hradec Králové. Currently, I am studying for a Ph.D. in Latin American Studies at the same university. I published an article last year about how the Nicaraguan regime dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic from a human security approach. I have worked as a research assistant at the Central European Labor Studies Institute (CELSI) in Bratislava, Slovakia. In addition, I have experience working as a research and project assistant at the largest human rights NGO in Central Europe, People in Need.
