Frederic Traylor is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at Rutgers University – New Brunswick. He researches public opinion on climate change and climate change solutions using survey and computational methods. Among other projects, he is researching the representativeness of novel sampling methods for climate change surveys, the perceived moral hazard of technological solutions to climate change, the role of institutional trust in advancing support for climate policy, and how climate change attitudes affect and are affected by parenthood.
