Dr. Irfan Ahmad Rana is currently an Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. He holds a PhD in Regional Development Planning, and focuses his research on Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation, and Sustainable Urban Development. He has completed his postdoctoral research at the University of Nevada, USA.
Dr. Rana has been recognized for his contributions to urban resilience and disaster risk management, earning distinction as one of the World’s Top 2% Researchers by Stanford University
