Jesús Marcos Gamero holds a Phd. in Social Analysis at University Carlos III of Madrid, with a thesis in the study of climate migration and the responses from social protection policies. His field or research and advocacy is related with the study of the social impacts of climate change and its response by society. Thus, and together with climate migration, he is interested in the adaptation of health systems to climate change or climate intergenerational cooperation, with a focus on the role of older people in the fight against climate change. Currently he is teaching “Global Environmental Challenges” at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
