Kelly works at the intersection of storytelling, climate, gender, and public health. A Research Associate Faculty at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, she brings demonstrated leadership and diverse experience in healthcare research, academia, business development, and global health nonprofit work. Her everyday work is informed by a future where environmental justice and health equity are realized.

Kelly has studied and worked in the United States, Thailand, Morocco, and South Africa and collaborates with colleagues and organizations across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. Kelly is a Brown Information Futures Lab fellow, conducting her project on civil society perceptions of and proposed solutions to the air pollution crisis in Thailand. She is also a 2022 Emerging Voices for Global Health fellow, a Wedu board member, and an adjunct faculty at UNC Chapel Hill. She holds an MPH from UNC Chapel Hill and a BA from Vanderbilt University. She loves hiking, being in nature, and spending time with her Thai bangkaew dogs.
