Kylie Fuller is a Sociology graduate student at New York University studying the intersection of social movements, protest dynamics, and climate politics. She investigates the conditions under which movements generate political change and how they challenge or reinforce existing power structures in the context of climate change and climate justice. In this work, she examines how movement strategies and organizational structures influence public opinion, mobilization, and policy outcomes. Her work also explores how different protest tactics shape the legitimacy of climate activism, how media and state actors frame and respond to disruptive movements, and how structural and psychological factors shape participation in contentious politics.
