Lukas Slothuus is Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Sussex working on climate politics. His work centres on the politics of fossil fuels, specifically the politics of fossil fuel production phaseouts, climate leadership, and the global political economy of fossil fuels. He is furthermore interested in, and has published on, the politics of social transformation, the role of intellectuals and leaders in social change, and the role of hope and faith for social movements.
