Maya Jegen is a Professor of Political Science at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Her research examines energy policy, with a focus on the social acceptability of energy technology, institutional barriers to energy transitions, and the politics of adopting new policy instruments such as life cycle analysis. She holds a PhD from the University of Geneva and worked as a policy analyst for the Swiss Federal Office of Energy.
