I’m technically retired but more active than ever. In 2023-24 I published approximately 10 articles/chapters in journals, conferences and books. My focus is on AI and Cognitive Science. One of my goals is to make the social sciences more scientific by utilizing tools such as the Web Ontology Language, Agent-Based Modeling, and Gintis’ extension of game theory to include beliefs and uncertainty. I do paid consulting for both large companies and startups as well as unpaid research of my own. Much of my work recently has been with a startup called Common Action that is dedicated to using technology to help scientists and citizens collaborate in developing climate change solutions. So far we have developed collaboration technology for the Helioweb group at NASA.
