Miriam Prys-Hansen is a lead research fellow at the Institute for Asian Studies and head of Research Programme 4: Global Orders and Foreign Policies at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) in Hamburg. She holds a D.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Oxford. Her research deals with climate obstruction in global climate negotiations, and the role of emerging powers in the global climate regime. She also is part of a interdisciplinary network researching governance innovations with natural scientists, ecologists and social scientists.
