I am a Finnish sociologist (PhD) who is specialized in social theory, political economy, economic sociology, and some European Union related economic and governing issues. Through my postdoctoral project “Effective Climate-Change Denialism in Finland and Sweden”, I develop my theoretically and economically oriented research profile toward environmental sociology.
My postdoctoral project identifies the climate denialism actors and the social(-media) networks involved – alongside their logics – in Finland, with comparison of findings from Sweden. This empirical study of actors and social networks is set within a novel theoretical framework for analysing how dominant value frameworks are (re)produced and legitimised in institutionalised interaction.
