Now an ecological economist, Oskar was originally trained in environmental and natural resources economics. He is experienced with quantitative methods ranging from input-output analysis to natural language processing. He combines perspectives from economics, political economy, energy justice, and earth system governance to do research on climate mitigation, particularly questions of policy design, given inequality and political feasibility challenges.
