Ratan Ghosh is a doctoral candidate in Accounting and Finance at Peter Faber Business School, Australian Catholic University, with an MBA in Accounting from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research focuses on climate change reporting, ESG reporting, sustainable finance, greenwashing, social accounting, and supply chain transparency. A recipient of the prestigious 2023 Emerald Literati Award, which recognizes the quality of his publications in leading international journals, he also holds the position of Assistant Professor of Accounting (currently on leave) at Bangladesh University of Professionals.
With eight years of experience as a dedicated educator and researcher, including his current role as a Sessional Academic at Australian Catholic University, he excels in fostering engaging learning environments and conducting research within the broader domain of sustainability. Ratan has also secured multiple competitive research grants related to corporate natural resource efficiency, ESG reporting, financial literacy, and social accounting education. He has published research papers in esteemed journals, including the Journal of Accounting Literature, Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies, Journal of Risk Finance, and the International Journal of Disclosure and Governance. Furthermore, he presented his working paper on sustainable finance and financial literacy at the 29th International Association of Jesuit Business Schools Conference in 2024.
