Saara Taavila is a PhD researcher at the Social Psychology department of the University of Amsterdam. Her work focuses on complexity and uncertainty narratives around climate solutions and the impact of these narratives on policy support and related attitudes. She is broadly interested in the nexus between organized denial and individual skeptical attitudes, as well as the role of (climate) misinformation in attitude formation. She uses a combination of methods (survey studies, content analysis) to study both individual attitudes and the media landscape.
