Simon Matti is chaired professor in political science, with a a particular focus on the policy and politics of the environment. His main research interests concern the politics of large-scale collective action, and the political and public responses to such problems mainly focusing on public policy support, policy legitimacy and political behavior. Simon is a founding member of the Sustainable Development Policy Research Group at Luleå University of Technology, and an affiliated senior researcher at the Centre for Collective Action Research (CeCAR), University of Gothenburg.
