Subina Shrestha (she/her) is an urban sustainability researcher whose work focuses on issues of socio-politics in creating sustainable cities, focusing on different actors and their agency. Shrestha draws on experience from her prior work across Nepal, Thailand and Norway to understand how multiple actors navigate issues of competing interests, power and agency in the pursuit of sustainable cities. Her expertise in multi-stakeholder engagement, policy analysis and relational thinking across different sectors is an asset for scrutinizing who gets to decide the direction of urban sustainability and how. She holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Bergen, Norway.
