Sujan Kanti Dey is a PhD researcher in Climate Change and Sustainable Development at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. His research focuses on climate-induced displacement, drought vulnerability, climate-smart agriculture, and community adaptation in Bangladesh. With over 12 years of professional experience in the humanitarian and development sectors, he has worked with the United Nations Development Programme, the World Health Organization, the International Rescue Committee, and the Danish Refugee Council. His work has involved protection programming, disaster response, and community resilience initiatives, particularly within the Rohingya refugee response in Cox’s Bazar. His research interests include climate migration, environmental governance, climate-smart agriculture, and the social dimensions of climate policy in developing countries.
