Winifred is a PhD candidate at the University of Essex. Her research focus lies within the intersection of political economy and environmental politics. She aims to contribute to the growing knowledge and discourse around the political economy of decarbonisation in oil and gas-exporting countries.
She holds degrees as a BA in International Relations degree from Essex and an MSc in Public Policy and Administration at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Outside of academia, she is a sustainable finance analyst focusing on understanding and explaining sustainability themes in sovereign debt investment, and in helping asset managers to identify how to integrate ESG factors into sovereign debt portfolios.
