Stephens delves into what masculine technological optimism — or, the belief that technological innovation is the only way out — fails to take into account when addressing climate change. Stephens argues that the solely technological approach leaves out the importance of feminist and anti-racist models which are necessary to achieve transformative climate policies, economic justice, and climate justice.
